This is a group of guys from LBC that get together for a variety of different opportunities. From bible study, watching a movie, & work days - to sports, eating guy food and just hanging out together. The point is that our church and our families are only going to be as strong both physically and spiritually as the men are. 

LATEST NEWS FROM DENNY PERKINS, MEN'S MINISTRY LEADER:

Had a great turnout for the Men's group meeting Monday night, we had 17 guys there! We discussed some ways we can help in the community and in our church as a group, a men's retreat at some point, a trip to a baseball game,an archery event for kids and families and several other activities. We are trying to brainstorm and come up with ideas that will appeal to all age groups of men and we would really like to get input from all the guys in our church young and old alike.
We also discussed a name for our group. We are now called AX men! Using the greek alphabet A(Alpha) and X(Chi) these are the first letters in the Greek words Adolphus Christus which means Brothers in Christ.
All in all we had a great meeting ,a great meal and a great time of fellowship. If you were there we appreciate you giving of your time to come , if you weren't there we missed you and you missed a great time. Remember this ministry isn't just the 17 guys that were there , it's every man that attends our church. We need your input and participation if our ministry and our church is going to grow and thrive. If the men of our church are united and strong our church will be a reflection of that. How much can we positively effect our church, our family and our community as men of God. Every guy is welcome!!
